Web2ink is a web development company that specializes in creating eCommerce websites exclusively for the printing industry.  Founded in 2016 by Steve McKillip.  Web2ink is located in Charlotte, NC.  Comprised of printing industry veterans,  former print shop owners and experienced and specialized programmers web2ink has a unique insight into the printing industry and understands the challenges faced in selling custom print online. 

Scope of Work

Overview | Web2ink will take Redwall’s newly designed website and integrate our suite of ecommerce tools to create a single smooth online ordering experiences for Redwall’s customers.

Specific tasks, functions and feature to be built include:

  • Integration with orderdesk software for automating the entry of orders into their system for DTG printing
  • Integration with Shopworks for automating the entry of orders into their shop management software. This integration will be automated to the fullest possible extent but may still require minimal manual actions.
  • Custom pricing on an individual customer basis.
  • Ability to offer payment terms for online orders (certain customers only) and the ability to assign this function to specific customers
  • Ability to create and manage multiple customer types, ie – retail, wholesale, contract, custom priced 
  • Custom contract order form that feeds directly into showorx, that includes, clients parameters and all required fields.
  • Embeddable web to print stores – for the lower volume DTG customers. This function will allow the creation of custom stores that can be utilized on Redwall’s website or embedded into the clients own website.
  • Access to client specific order tracking portal through the standard my account page, basically a link to Redwall’s Shopworx Order manager portal.
  • All feature included in our Base plan.

Optional features:

  • Custom design tool that can be embedded into Redwall’s client sites. This will include the creation of dynamic branded cart and checkout pages and a profit tracking module to track Redwall’s clients orders, profits, payouts and statistics. Price – $2500.00
  • Custom designed design tool to match the look and feel of Redwall’s site design. Cost -$1000.00

Timeframe

For the scope of work described above the timeframe will be 8-12 weeks. Any delays on the part of Redwall will proportionately extend the timeframe.  Web2ink will proactively inform Redwall of any expected or surprise delays that result from software compatibility, programming challenges or any other causes.

 

Cost & payments

Total set up/programming costs – $7500.00
Payable 50% deposit to start work.  Final 50% After completion and testing, but before live site launch.
-this cost does not include optional features listed in scope of project

Ongoing monthly costs – $149.00 per month, Lifetime term.
-ongoing cost include hosting on Google Clouds top tier, maintenance, security, daily backups, and lifetime updates.
-monthly charges will begin at the initial onset of the project and continue until canceled in writing or through Web2inks client portal by Redwall LLC.


Confidentially statement

Web2ink respects any client’s wishes to keep our working relationship confidential between involved parties.  Web2ink does reserve the right to display client  work images, site links, logo, and related project images, web pages and content on our website, social media, marketing materials and portfolio unless requested otherwise by client.  Web2ink is happy to provide NDA (non disclosure agreements) or review and sign client supplied NDA.
